A walk for owners of a dog breed that takes its name from the Airedale Valley will take place next month.
The eighth annual Airedale Terrier Dog Walk will also be open to owners of other breeds.
Organiser David Ball said the event was mainly designed for the average pet owner, rather than people who breed and own show dogs.
He said: “We promote the Airedale Valley and the Airedale terrier dog, but everyone is welcome. When we did the walk last year we had 80 Airedales with us.
“We’ve had people from Canada, America, Australia, Japan, Russia and France taking part.”
The event, which will feature a one-hour walk and a two-hour trek, takes place on September 9 in Bingley .
Participants should meet at the Scout Hall, Sycamore Avenue, for 11am. There will be refreshments, information and advice on Airedale terriers, a raffle and dog games.
