A cavalcade of bikers will ride to the funeral of a Bradford motorcycle business owner who died after a short illness, aged 64.
The group will travel to Nab Wood Crematorium at 2.40pm today to pay tribute to Steve Rhodes, owner of Steve Rhodes Motorcycles, who died at his home on Sandy Lane on August 8.
Mr Rhodes, who set up his first workshop fixing bikes in Laisterdyke shortly after leaving school at 15, opened a shop on Bolton Street in the late 1970s. He also ran a nightclub above the shop, called Imps.
The business later moved to Cleckheaton and closed when Mr Rhodes retired in 2000.
His wife Judie, 50, his partner of 27 years who he married at Bradford Register Office last year, said: “He was a Yorkshire man who loved his bikes and fast cars.”
