British Heart Foundation (BHF) shops across the district are asking people to set themselves a challenge in the fight against heart disease this September as part of their new stock donation campaign – the Great British Bag-athon.
The BHF shops in Bradford, Shipley , Ilkley and Keighley are aiming to generate 1,000 bags each during September.
Each bag is worth an average of £20, helping the BHF continue its lifesaving work in the area.
Debbie Boylen, regional manager for the BHF Yorkshire shops, said: “We’re always keen to receive Yorkshire’s lovely clothing, accessories, handbags, shoes, books, CDs and DVDs.”
Visit bhf.org.uk/bagathon to find out more or call into one of the shops for further information and to donate.
For anyone filling lots of bags, the shops can collect. Call 0844 3341400.
