Bradford pop star Zayn Malik was centre stage at last night's closing ceremony for the 2012 London Olympics as his band One Direction joined a host of home-grown music legends to sign off the Games.
Billions of people worldwide were treated to a musical showcase featuring something for every generation, from legends The Who, Queen and Annie Lennox, through to the Spice Girls and Take That.
