A free shuttle bus service is replacing buses around Odsal Top in Bradford until the end of major gas repair works next month.
The service runs every 15 minutes on a circular route from 9am to 6pm Monday to Saturday covering Halifax Road, Odsal Road, Holroyd Hill, Wibsey High Street, Fair Road, St Helena Road, St Paul’s Avenue and back to Halifax Road.
The repairs are due to finish on Sunday, September 2, but until then the slip road from Bradford between Huddersfield Road towards Odsal Top is closed.
Outbound journeys on ten local bus services – the 268, 363, 622, 623, 625, 626, 627, 645, 681 and 682 – have all been affected.
The 268 is running via Huddersfield Road, Netherlands Avenue and Common Road before returning to its normal route on Cleckheaton Road.
The 363, 622, 623, 625, 626 and 627 buses are not serving Odsal Top on journeys towards Brighouse , Huddersfield and Scholes and are running via the underpass.
