A 13-year-old boy was today in hospital after he was badly injured in an accident with a car in Queensbury last night.
Police and ambulances were called to Commercial Street at 8.46pm following the incident which involved a Ford Ka.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said the boy was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary before being transferred to Leeds General Infirmary. His injuries were described as “serious”.
The road was closed for more than three hours while accident investigators examined the scene.
