There’s something funny going on at Bradford Theatres this autumn.
The biggest names in comedy, the newest faces on the circuit and one of the oldest comedy legends still touring will be taking to the stage at St George’s Hall.
Highlights include Frankie Boyle and Welsh funnyman Rhod Gilbert, musing over life’s irritations in his show The Man With The Flaming Battenberg Tattoo.
The line-up also includes Jimmy Carr, Dara O’Briain, Al Murray, Russell Kane, back with a new show following the publication of his debut novel, The Humorist, and Jack Dee, returning to stand-up after a six-year absence. The season draws to a close with Ken Dodd’s annual Bradford show.
Over at the Alhambra Studio, Francesca Martinez delivers her show What The **** Is Normal?!
Andi Osho, best known for appearances on TV comedy shows Mock The Week and Live At The Apollo, delivers her brutally honest dissection of the perils and pitfalls of dating in All The Single Ladies; Imran Yusuf, who enjoyed sell-out success in Bradford last year; Mark Thomas, exploring love, death and the search for peace in an imperfect world; Rob Rouse with his honest, frank and seriously funny ode to fatherhood; Paul Foot, a regular on TV’s Never Mind The Buzzcocks, and his show Kenny Larch Is Dead; and Paul Tonkinson, described as a master of physicality and impressions.
