Motorists using the M62 near Bradford have been facing delays and disruption today for a variety of reasons.
To add to delays caused by ongoing roadworks, drivers have had to contend with tailbacks caused by an accident and then a slow-moving abnormal load.
During late morning, a collision involving a green Audi A4, on the M62 near Junction 25 at Brighouse, caused disruption.
No-one was injured in the accident, but two westbound lanes of the motorway were reportedly blocked after the incident at 10.40am.
In the early afternoon, there were further delays on the westbound carriageway due to an abnormal load at J24 Ainley Top. Matrix signs were set to 40 mph due to a slow moving tanker heading towards Manchester.
