Telegraph & Argus reader Brian Drake is hoping others will look at this team photograph and help him solve a mystery.
Mr Drake, now in his 70s and living in Copley, near Halifax, found the framed photo among his dad’s belongings after he died.
He stashed it away, but in 1997, after his dad’s old team, Skipton Rugby Union Football Club, played a match against Halifax, he decided to have a go at finding out all the names on it.
His dad William Henry Drake, who was about 18 when it was taken for the Yorkshire Observer in 1926, is on the front row, right in the middle.
Mr Drake handed the framed photo over to the Skipton club, and it now hangs nameless in their club house.
Although a few more names have come forward, there are still plenty missing.
The other players identified so far are Maurice Wells, far left, and just behind him is James Lonsdale. In the centre is Peter Garnett and behind him is his brother Tommy Garnett.
Anyone who can help identify the players should ring Mr Drake on (01422) 342860.
