PANTO: The New Community Arts Academy based in Eccleshill is performing the Pantomime Mother Goose starting tonight and continuing to Sunday at Victoria Hall. For tickets telephone (01274) 618148.

CENTRE: Eccleshill Youth & Community Association (Eccleshill Mechanics Institute) is open five mornings a week from 9.15am to noon for refreshments. Bacon sandwiches are served on Fridays. There is a dinner club from Monday to Thursday. Quality second-hand clothes and bric-a-brac is for sale most weekday mornings. On Mondays from 10.15am to 12.45pm the Phoenix Art Club meets with professional tuition. At 1.45pm North Bradford Retirement group meets. At 6.15pm there is yoga. LECTURE: Mark Hempsell from Bristol University and Alan Bond of Reaction Engines will present the lecture A Sumerian Observation of the Kofels Impact Event to an open meeting of Bradford Astronomical Society on Monday, February 6, at 7.30pm at Eccleshill.
