Plans to build stables and a tack room on green belt have been rejected.
Bradford Council planners said the plan, for land off Huddersfield Road, Wyke, would be “inappropriate development” that would be harmful to the visual amenity of the green belt.
The plan, by James Ellison Drake, would also have seen a new access created, involving a new stone boundary wall.
But, outlining why the scheme should be refused, a planning officer’s report said: “The stables and associated accommodation are considered to go well beyond what could reasonably regarded as ‘small’ facilities for outdoor sport."
