Forty people keen on healthy living headed to Holme Wood Activity Centre earlier this week to learn about how to keep fit.
Community interest company Healthy Lifestyle held the event with lottery cash from Awards For All.
Healthy Lifestyle try to help reduce health inequalities in disadvantaged communities. Operations director Sharon Rushworth said that the day was a success and was aimed at encouraging people to get involved and stay healthy.
“We wanted to show all the good things that are going on in Holme Wood,” she said.
“We had people measuring how much alcohol and units they consume a day, we had an oral health team there because oral health in Bradford is among the worst in the country and we had people giving health MoTs.
“There were also people there doing hair and nails and giving aromatherapy treatments.”
