A charity has been awarded the contract to transform the delivery of day services for more than 600 adults with learning disabilities in Bradford.
National learning disabilities charity Hft – formerly known as Home Farm Trust – has been granted the three- year contract by Bradford Council as part of the authority’s Changing Lives programme.
The programme is committed to ensuring people with learning disabilities are supported to have the same opportunities as others in society.
Over the coming months, Hft will be working with staff and families to gather their views and ideas on how to develop services to help individuals to lead a full and active life.
The charity’s chief executive Robert Longley-Cook said: “Hft is delighted to have been awarded this contact.”
