Pirates will roam the stages of Oakworth Methodist Church in this year's Sunday School pantomime.
Blackbeard takes on female buccaneer Crimson Hawk in eight performances of the family show Robinson Crusoe.
The hero is shipwrecked, just like in the original novel, but this version also has nymphs and goddesses.
The panto begins with Robinson and brother Billy thwarted in their hopes of marrying their sweethearts.
They sail away in search of untold wealth with the uncle's treasure map but the villainous Blackbeard goes along in disguise.
A church spokesman said: “As the plot unfolds, you will be treated to superb song and dance routines by the sailors, islanders, soloists and young nymphs and sprites.
“You will join in marvellous comedy routines with several of the main characters and boo yourself hoarse when Blackbeard appears!”
It is on February 11, 13, 14, 15, 17 and 18 at 7pm and both Saturdays at 2pm. Tickets cost £6 adults, £5 senior citizens and £4 children from (01535) 642625 or oakworthmethodists.org.
