Pupils at a Bradford primary school have received a sponsorship cheque for £200 from a supermarket to spend on more netbook terminals.
Stocks Lane Primary School, Clayton Heights, received the money from the Tesco store in Queensbury.
The store’s community champion, David Lightfoot, said: “I received a request for support from the school as head teacher Nikki Kilvington wanted to increase the number of notebook terminals they had so students could share on a two-to-one basis. It seemed a worthwhile request and Tesco was only too delighted to help.”
