A new Police Community Support Officer has begun patrols in Steeton and Eastburn.
Donna Holmes, a PCSO for eight years, is one of two new officers with the local Neighbourhood Policing Team.
The other is PC Tim Brown, who will focus on the Wharfedale part of the NPT’s area.
Villagers can discuss concerns with PCSO Holmes at Eastburn Methodist Church on Tuesdays February 7 and 28, from 10am to 11am.
An NPT officer will attend the PACT (Police and Community Together) meeting on Wednesday, March 7, from 7pm in Silsden Town Hall.
Neighbourhood officers will also be at Airedale Hospital, Steeton, on Saturday, February 18, from 10am to noon, to fit security screws on vehicle registration plates to make them harder to steal.
