Are you a young, fresh and undiscovered talent?
If you fancy treading the boards in a new British musical, read on.
Loserville is written by Elliot Davis and James Bourne, a former member of pop-rock bands Busted and Son Of Dork, and open auditions are being held for young actors, singers and dancers to fill principal roles.
Director Steven Dexter and the creative team behind the show are urging anyone with a passion for performance to showcase their talent. Performers must be available from May 14 to July 14 for rehearsals and performances.
Loserville is set in 1971. Computer geek Michael Dork is about to change the world, but a new complication has just entered his life – girls! Along with his sci-fi-obsessed, social-misfit friends, Michael fights to get computers taken seriously in a world of typewriters.
- Auditions take place at West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds, tomorrow. Performers must be at least 16 on the day of the auditions. For more details, ring (0113) 2137700.
