Tributes have been paid to a popular Bingley jeweller and Bradford City photographer who died suddenly this week.
Andy Bell had a jewellery workshop in Main Street and was jeweller to flamboyant TV presenter and disc jockey Sir Jimmy Savile.
He died on Monday, aged 53, after suffering a suspected heart attack during a doctor’s appointment.
His son Sam, who worked with his dad, said the family, including his mum Brenda and brother Ross, was devastated.
He said: “It was very sudden and it has been hard on everyone. We are just trying to come to terms with what has happened. He is very much missed.”
Mr Bell’s best friend Derek Earp said: “I know people always use eulogies to say there wasn’t a bad word said but on this occasion it is true. He was just a remarkable man.”
