A 47-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to attempting to murder a man in a Bradford alleyway.
Father-of-three John Sealy, of Parkfield Road, Manningham, Bradford, appeared at Bradford Crown Court from custody yesterday. His trial date has been set for March 19.
Bespectacled Sealy, wearing a blue striped pullover, also denied an alternative alleged offence of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
Sealy is accused of using a knife to inflict injuries on Saeed Ali Emier in an incident off Priestman Street, Manningham, on October 28.
Mr Emier, 30, underwent surgery to remove half his lung.
