A teenager was forced to the ground, kicked and robbed by four men as he walked home in Little Horton, Bradford.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crime, which happened in Cecil Avenue at its junction with Frank Street.
The 17-year-old victim was approached by four men who demanded money. After he handed over his wallet he was forced to the ground and kicked by the men.
The suspects, who were all described as black, about 6ft 2ins tall and wearing dark clothing, made off into Horton Park.
Detective Constable Jane Hebden, of Bradford South CID, said: “For the sake of £20, these men used unnecessary violence on a lone teenager, who was simply making his way home after visiting the gym.”
Any witnesses to the incident, which happened on Monday at 5.45pm, should contact the non-emergency number 101.
