Title-chasing Bulls have secured a new sponsorship deal with JCT600 worth more than £1million.

The buzzing Engage Super League champions will reach their sixth successive Grand Final if they win at Hull on Friday night and today announced more good news off the pitch.

Bradford-based JCT600 have been the club's main sponsors for the last five seasons but the motor group will now continue their partnership until 2010.

The Bulls, who are hoping to capture Castleford full back Michael Platt and Wakefield centre James Evans during the next fortnight, have already banked one major corporate deal this summer when they sold the naming rights for Odsal Stadium to Grattan for £500,000.

Chief executive Gareth Davies said: "I am delighted to be continuing our partnership with JCT600 for another four years.

"This is our biggest partner renewing with us for a further term, which is a major statement to all companies as to the benefits of being involved with Bradford Bulls.

"In monetary terms it is a very significant sum and, together with our other kit sponsors, of which JCT600 is by far the major contributor, it will take the value of our kit to well over £1million over the next four years.

"It also underpins the financial stability of the club and therefore our ability to compete at the top of our sport."

JCT600 boss Jack Tordoff added: "The Bulls have enjoyed tremendous success during our time as partners with them and, with the ups and downs of this season, it's a tremendous achievement for Steve McNamara and his team to have made the play-offs yet again.

"Saturday's match against Warrington certainly had me on the edge of my seat and the result was a triumph for the side even though it was overshadowed by Andy Lynch's unfortunate injury.

"JCT600 have received a massive amount of profile from our sponsorship of Bradford Bulls, we feel entirely justified in renewing our agreement for another four years and we're delighted to do so."

Meanwhile, after Castleford's relegation was confirmed this weekend, their No 1 Platt may now arrive at Odsal to replace Wigan-bound Mick Withers next season.

The exciting 22-year-old will bring plenty of pace and threat to the Bulls backline, while Evans is also lined up due to Karl Pryce's impending move to Gloucester RU.

The rangy Aussie three-quarter left Huddersfield for Wakefield mid-season and helped save them from the drop, scoring twice in the vital victory against Castleford having also featured in the win over Bradford last month.

Evans, 27, is a Welsh international and former Canberra Raiders star.

  • Bulls fans are warned to expect major congestion and parking problems at the KC Stadium on Friday night.
The famous Hull Fair takes place on the same evening in the ground's adjacent car park meaning supporters are urged to use the city's park-and-ride scheme for the all-ticket showdown and leave plenty of time for their journey.
