Part of the roof of a derelict building has collapsed, sparking fears someone could be trapped beneath the rubble.
A specialist fire service search and rescue team, with a sniffer dog, is currently at the scene in Chesham Street, Keighley.
The alarm was raised at about 2.30am today when a security guard at the former Keighley College's Harold Town building reported that part of the roof had collapsed and a shout had been heard.
Police were called and they alerted the fire brigade, which mobilised two crews from Keighley Fire Station and the specialist unit from Cleckheaton.
Keighley watch commander Steve Moorhouse said: "It is believed that someone may have been inside the building.
"Teams are still at the scene searching through the debris."
