Proud parents can now enter their bouncing babies into the Telegraph & Argus Happy Tots competition.
A professional photographer will be at the Kirkgate Shopping Centre from next week, taking happy snaps of youngsters as part of the competition.
All entries will be published in a colour supplement in the T&A and readers will vote for their preferred winner in the age group categories.
They are for babies aged up to six months, aged six to 12 months, one to two years old and two to three years old.
The three youngsters with the most votes in each category will be entered into the final for the chance to win a prize of a £500 voucher, courtesy of the Kirkgate Centre, and a framed photograph.
Last year’s overall competition winner was 16-month old Amelia Johnson, who was also crowned winner of the one to two-year-old category after receiving 824 votes.
Her mum Jessica Smith, 20, of Buchan Towers, Little Horton, said the framed picture went straight on the wall as soon as the family took it home.
A new trampoline and toys were bought for Amelia with the vouchers she won as part of her prize.
Miss Smith said the family was “over the moon with everything”.
Amelia also made it into the final of the previous year’s competition aged just four weeks.
Another previous winner, Kayden Hindle, who was nine months old when he won the competition in 2008, went on to model for Sheffield agency DK Model Management.
The Happy Tots photographer will be outside Primark, at the Kirkgate Shopping Centre, Bradford, from 10am to 4pm every day from next Monday to Saturday, February 11, apart from Sunday, February 5.
Entry to the competition is free, but prints will be available to buy.
The winners of the competition will be revealed in the T&A later this year.
