Pupils at Eastburn Junior & Infant School could be getting the needle – and they’re delighted.
The school hopes to launch a Friday lunchtime knitting club, for children from Years Two to Six. Work by the group would be part of activities planned between Eastburn and its link school in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
And it is also hoped to make items to sell at the school summer fair.
