Police are investigating a flat fire in Keighley which broke out early today.
A man and woman, believed to be in their mid-20s, managed to get out of the ground floor flat in Braithwaite Avenue safely although the male had slight smoke inhalation and needed first-aid oxygen.
It is believed they were woken by a smoke alarm.
The main seat of the fire was behind the front door, said Keighley fire crew commander David Knox.
Two pumps from Keighley and one from Bingley went to the scene shortly before 2am.
A police spokesman said inquiries were continuing but it was too early to say whether the fire was deliberately started.
