Staff at a Bradford food store donned hats from around the world to mark the start of a global campaign celebrating the success of co-operatives.
Workers at the Co-operative shop in Allerton Road, Bradford, wore a number of hats, including a French beret and headwear from Australia and Russia, to highlight 2012 being International Year of Co-operatives.
Employees also pieced together a giant jigsaw to highlight the campaign, designated by the UN, which aims to highlight how co-operatives build a better world through their values.
Store manager Majid Mahood said: “Thanks to the International Year of Co-operatives, everyone from the Bradford food store to the Ibaraki fishing co-operative in Japan can celebrate the responsible way we do business.”
