Skipton is about to welcome a tea room with a difference.
The Russian Tea Room is to open in the former David Goldie premises at the top of the High Street.
It will incorporate an emporium of Russian and Eastern European gifts, crafts, food and drink and jewellery – not to mention more than 100 leaf teas to buy.
Ahead of its opening on Wednesday, February 1, a number of invited guests were given a preview of the new business.
Among those attending were the Rylstone Calendar Girls, who famously stripped for a charity calendar in 1999, and Look North presenter Harry Gration.
The Russian Tea Room was originally launched in Bacup, Lancashire, in 2010.
