Edna Andrews
A retired teacher who has helped educate generations of Otley schoolchildren celebrated her 100th birthday yesterday.
Edna Andrews enjoyed the landmark at her home on Oatlands Drive, with family and friends.
She was born in Micklefield, near Leeds, on January 18, 1912, the youngest of five children.
Educated at Bingley Teacher Training College, Mrs Andrews taught at Otley National School for ten years and Weston Lane Junior School.
