ROYAL BRITISH LEGION: The Low Moor and Wyke branch will be holding the next monthly meeting on Wednesday at 8pm in the Harold Club, Huddersfield Road. New members always welcome to support the work of this association.

HOLY TRINITY CHURCH: The Rambling Group will be having a walk of four miles in the Southowram area on Saturday followed by a pub lunch. Meet in the church car park at 9.30am with mid-morning refreshments. Services on Sunday commence at 9.30am with Cafe Church followed at 10.50am with Holy Communion and Service of the Word at 6.15pm. The Men’s Society will be holding the annual meeting on Wednesday at 2pm.

VETERANS: The Ladies Bingo Club meets in the Veterans Pavilion, Victoria Park on Tuesday evenings at 7.15pm. Weekly Whist Drives are held on Thursday afternoons at 2pm. The Pavilion is open on Monday and Wednesday from 9.30 to 11.30am for the Community/Police Contact Point.

WESLEYAN REFORM CHURCH: Pastor Ady Rugeruza will be conducting the services on Sunday at 10.30am and 6pm. The Low Moor Paper Crafts Group meets on Monday evenings in the church hall at 7.30pm.

CRICKET: The Woodlands Cricket Club requires a scorer for the first team for this season. Anyone interested should contact Brian Pearson on 07867 780678. Members of the Junior Academy, under-eights to under-17s, practice on Saturday evenings from 5pm to 7pm. under qualified coaches. Practice nets are also available to other clubs through to the start of the season in April.

ALDERSGATE METHODIST CHURCH: The morning service on Sunday at 10.30am will be conducted by Jennifer Hardy. In the evening members will be joining the service at the Holy Trinity Church.

SEDBERGH: The Bradford Model Railway Group meets in the Community Centre on Monday and Thursday from 7.30pm to 10pm. On Wednesday the Young at Heart group for the over 50’s is from 1pm and in the evening the ladies aerobics class is at 7pm.

DANCING: Line-dancing classes for improvers and Intermediates have commenced on Mondays from 7.30pm to 10pm at the Harold Club. Admission is £3.50. For more in formation call (01274) 423772.

ST ANDREW’S CHURCH: Tonight the Music Group meets at 7pm. The weekly Luncheon Club is on Friday at noon and the coffee morning on Saturday from 10am to 11.30am. From 1pm to 4pm. all are invited to come along to the Crafty Cafe afternoon when you are welcome to bring your own items or make your own and enjoy refreshments at the same time. The all-age service is on Sunday at 10.30am. The playgroup meets on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 9am with the Mums/Toddlers at 1.15pm on Thursday. The short service is on Wednesday at 9.30am.
