Children have been left heartbroken after their favourite pony went missing after a break-in at a Bradford riding school.
Seven horses were left to roam the streets when stable doors at Bridgefield Stables, in Wyke Lane, Oakenshaw, were left open by night-time raiders.
Six of the animals were rounded up safely by police and riding school staff after they were spotted in Cleckheaton Road, heading towards Odsal roundabout.
But black and white gipsy cob Screwball is still missing, and stables bosses fear he has been stolen.
Lindsey Garbutt, 38, who runs the riding school, said all the children at the stables were distraught. But Screwball was also a family pet and her 11-year-old daughter, Ivie-Mae, who rides him most days, has been searching the streets for him every night since he disappeared.
Mrs Garbutt said they were now offering a substantial reward for Screwball’s safe return.
