Hundreds of jobs could move into the Aire Valley after nationalised lender Bradford & Bingley submitted plans for major expansion at its Crossflatts headquarters.
Plans have been submitted to Bradford Council for a three-storey office extension at the site in Croft Road for between 250 and 300 employees over the next decade.
UK Asset Resolution Limited (UKAR) – the holding company for nationalised Bradford & Bingley plc and Northern Rock (Asset Management) – is currently consulting over re-locating 700 members of staff at its Northern Rock offices in Gosforth, Newcastle.
Some of those jobs could be brought to Crossflatts if planning permission for the office expansion is granted.
