Six organisations in the district are celebrating after getting a share of £50,000 of lottery cash.
The British Asian Rugby Association (BARA) and Bradford’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry are among those to have received Awards for All grants from the Big Lottery Fund (BIG).
BIG has shared £267,361 between 32 schemes across the region.
In Bradford, Sedbergh School Bradford Boys Club, Clayton Village Primary School and St Matthew’s Primary School, in West Bowling, all got a share.
The biggest award in the area, £10,000, went to Skipton Extended Learning For All, a charity which will use the funding to run activities for 11 to 14-year-olds including games, music workshops and drama.
St Matthew’s will fund keep fit sessions, CV writing and aromatherapy with their £7,880 and Clayton Village Primary will use its £9,740 for family sessions in zumba, archery and hairdressing.
