A police officer helped rescue a dog found living in poor conditions on his first day with North Bradford Neighbourhood Policing Team.
Police Constable Gaz Roberts executed a warrant under the Animal Welfare Act at a house in Lower Grange with officers from the RSPCA.
A Japanese Akita dog was seized from the property. The RSPCA are continuing inquiries.
