Cautious Bulls boss Steve McNamara is reminding his players they have won nothing yet.

Confidence is high following their 52-6 play-off thumping of Salford, a win that now has people talking about a sixth successive Grand Final appearance.

The champions follow up with another elimination play-off against Warrington Wolves on Saturday night as they look to make history by retaining their crown from fourth position.

The manner of the Salford slaughter has many believing it is possible but McNamara is well aware that sudden-death rugby means success can quickly turn to failure.

Bulls have struggled for consistency this season and the main aim now is to deliver back-to-back performances for the next fortnight to get to Old Trafford.

"The players achieved what they did last week because of thorough preparation and applying themselves throughout every minute and every second of the game," said McNamara.

"Now we need to do that amount of work again. Just because they've done it once, it doesn't mean it will happen this week.

"Warrington are in the exact same boat and will be wanting to make sure it arrives for them.

"We should be confident but if we expect anything to happen we'll get nothing."

McNamara continued: "We're trying to keep everyone's feet on the ground.

"We are a long way off yet but there's a desire and a passion to get there and try and win the thing again.

"We are Super League champions and World Club champions and pretty proud.

"We've had that pride hurt a couple of times this season but at the end of the day we've got the trophy and someone has to take it off us. It's going to be a great finish."
