Bradford Royal Infirmary is one of nine hospitals across the country piloting a scheme to improve the treatment for patients with diabetes.

Think Glucose is a national, two-year project focusing on improving care, outcomes and experiences of patients with diabetes, who end up being admitted to hospital.

Four wards at the BRI – 18, 22, 23 and 27 – are taking part in the project’s initial implementation and there are plans to roll it out across the rest of the organisation if the pilot proves effective.
