Education chiefs have called for a rise in standards at Bradford’s schools after the district was named as having one of the highest numbers of ‘satisfactory’ secondary schools in the country.
A report published today found more than 60 per cent of secondary schools in Bradford were rated ‘satisfactory’ by Ofsted with the Yorkshire region as a whole also having a high proportion of schools with the grading.
