REVIEW: Salsa Celtica Victoria Hall, Saltaire Dropping temperatures outside were soon forgotten by the lively crowd who descended on Saltaire last night to see rhythm band Salsa Celtica return to the world heritage spot for what has now become an annual pilgrimage.
The heat was turned right up to sizzling inside with the packed dance floor generating much of it thanks to the passion-fuelled performance on stage - this band are red hot.
The atmosphere was one big party.
Sultry salsa moves mingled with celtic jig stomps, it was fantastic to see so many people having fun and releasing energy through dance.
Salsa Celtica not only came back for a double encore but have promised to keep coming back to Victoria Hall so if you missed this show - don’t miss the next.
You might have to wait a while, but to help pass the time until then Saltairelive has got other great gigs lined up for 2012 - including celtic fusion dance band from Skye, The Peatbog Faeries.
