Bradford Academy pupil Sadiyya Mahmood, 12, was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when she was 15 months old.
Despite her condition she raised hundreds of pounds for charity when she unfalteringly got out of her wheelchair and walked through Lister Park with her walking frame.
Sadiyya, who lives with her family in Bankfoot, Bradford, was raising money for disabled people's charity Bradnet, who had asked her to take part in the walk to raise money for its outreach and advocacy department.
Leanne Wright from Bradnet, who nominated her, said: “We would love to work more with Sadiyya and put all her skills and ideas to use. She’s a real boon to us.”
