An investigation has started following a suspected arson attack on a terraced home in Bradford.
A dozen firefighters from Odsal station spent nearly an hour battling two separate blazes at a house in Daisy Street, Great Horton, at 10.53pm yesterday.
They were called out when a member of the public called 999 after seeing smoke coming from the back-to-back terraced house.
The crews discovered fires in the front porch and upstairs bedroom.
The firefighters used specialist breathing apparatus as they checked inside the house, which was empty.
A fire service spokesman said the fire is believed to have started deliberately and was under investigation by specialist fire service investigators and police.
The bedroom of the house was severely damaged.
