Nazim Ali is a familiar face on the junior football scene in Bradford, having coached Fairbank United under-12s for the past four years.
The 31-year-old, of Temple Street, Manningham, is also secretary of Naqshbandia Active Development Association (NADA), an organisation that runs interfaith community days, football coaching and tournaments for youngsters.
He also works as a careers adviser and mentors young people at NADA. He was just 22 when he became the youngest chairman of Girlington Community Centre, he has also been chairman of Manningham and Girlington Youth Partnership.
“It’s a real accolade but there are so many other people who do so much work without any recognition that I’d liketo pay tribute to them all,” he said.
