Members of an organisation that helps homeless people are sleeping outside to raise awareness of their plight.
The team will be doing street collections tomorrow and Saturday and will be sponsored to sleep out tomorrow night near Forster Square station. Adam Clark, project co-ordinator at Bradford-based Hope Housing, said the money would help support people living on the streets.
He said: “Co-op Travel in Bradford city centre have offered to collect items such as socks, underwear and toiletries over the Christmas period. These are items that people can donate and drop off in the shop over the next few weeks, and we will give them to homeless people when they stay with our volunteers.”
