Two sisters touched by the plight of cancer sufferers have started a fundraising drive by making their own multi-coloured bracelets.
Theresa Ireland, of Wrose, Shipley, bought 3,000 coloured beads for daughters Katie, eight and Lucy, nine.
They are selling them for £1 each, with their profits going to Cancer Research.
Mrs Ireland, 32, of Westview Avenue, said: “They came up with the idea themselves because they watch the news and keep hearing stories of people dying of cancer.
“They came to me and said they wanted to help.”
The girls were invited to sell them in the Co-op shop in Wrose Road and have had an order for 20 from Spen Victoria Cricket Club in Cleckheaton.
