Police have released this CCTV image in a bid to trace a possible witness to a fatal collision in Bradford.
Andrew Simpson, 39, had got out of a taxi and was crossing Great Horton Road near its junction with Old Road, when he was killed in a collision with a silver Renault Megane.
Mr Simpson, of Hollybank Gardens, was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary where he died a short time later.
A 23-year-old Halifax man arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving in connection with the collision has been bailed pending further enquiries.
The CCTV image released by officers depicts a man who officers believe may have seen the collision or the movements of the Renault Megane before it happened.
The man police want to trace, who is not suspected of having been involved in the collision, was walking along Great Horton Road out of the city moments before it occurred.
He is believed to have been wearing light-coloured clothing and three-quarter-length trousers.
Anyone with information about the collision, which happened on Saturday, October 1, at 1.20am, is asked to phone Detective Sergeant Carole Clayton, of the Major Collision Enquiry Team, on 101, or (01924) 293047.
