Who has the best-dressed ho-ho-house in the Bradford district?

Every year we spotlight those festive folk who like to go the extra mile when it comes to celebrating Christmas, but this year we thought those who go out of their way to make life jolly deserve an extra reward.

Which is why we’ve teamed up with Asda Supermarkets in Greengates, Wyke, Little Horton and Thornbury to run a competition to find the most yuletide abode in the area – with a whopping £500 in prizes up for grabs for the best seasonal smash-hits.

The winner of the competition will receive a £300 Asda gift card which will help ease the pressure on Christmas spending, and two runners-up will each receive a £100 gift card.

The stores stock more than 10,000 grocery products, enabling customers to complete a full weekly shop. All of the products sold in the stores are available at the same low Asda prices you’d find in the supermarket’s other, larger outlets.

If you’re one of those people who really push the sleigh out at Christmas, with exterior lights, dancing elves, snowmen, Santa on the roof – however you dress up the outside of your home to celebrate the season – then you’ll want to be in with a shout for our great prizes.

All we want you to do is take a photograph of the outside of your decorated home with your camera-phone, then text it to us on the number provided.

Our special phone line is open now for those Christmas early birds, and you’ll have until the end of the day on December 11 to get your pictures in to us.

When we’ve received your entries, we’ll send our photographers out to take a professional picture of the best who make it on to the shortlist, then we’ll open the voting for the rest of the T&A readership to have the final say.

You must remember to send us your name, address and contact number along with your picture, or we won’t be able to get back in touch with you.

Don’t take pictures of anyone else’s house and enter those, though if you do have a neighbour who likes to dress up their house, then by all means tell them about our competition and encourage them to take part.
