Two goals by Mick Naylor inspired Queensbury to only their second Bradford Sunday Alliance win of the season as they gained an impressive 4-2 Premier Division verdict at West Bowling.
Queensbury's luck took a turn for the better as they moved in front in the first half with a well-taken goal by Naylor.
The second half started in dramatic fashion as the visitors scored twice in quick succession through Terry Mason and man of the match Lee Ashworth.
West Bowling came more into the game after that and had two good penalty appeals turned down, only for the visitors to make the game safe when Naylor struck from the penalty spot with 20 minutes to go.
Bowling finally scored five minutes later through Jack Murphy, while a goalkeeping error then allowed Damian Melvin to add a second, but good defending by Queensbury enabled them to prevent any further alarms.
Silsden moved three points clear at the top as they edged out nearest challengers Bolton Woods in a seven-goal thriller.
Two goals apiece from Dale Hoyle and Adam Whiteoak proved too good for the visitors, who slipped to their second consecutive defeat after losing for the first time last week.

But Paul Noble pulled one back five minutes from time to keep the outcome in doubt until the final whistle.
A Danny King hat-trick guided AFC Pudsey to a comfortable 6-0 home win over Oakenshaw and lifted them up a place to fourth in the table.
Ronnie Worral supplied two of the other goals, with John Ward's exquisite chip completing the tally.
Crown Wyke provided the shock of the day as they earned a first victory of the season.
This came at the expense of previously unbeaten leaders Oakworth Juniors in Division One.
The Missin brothers, Jordan and Mark, scored two goals each as Oak-worth were humbled 4-2 on their own patch.
This result opened up the top of the table and Buttershaw White Star took advantage by maintaining their own 100 per cent record with a 3-1 victory at Ventus Sports.
Jamie Bairstowe actually fired the hosts ahead, only for Darren Nero to equalise before half-time.
Andy Butterworth's tenth goal in four matches then put White Star in front on the hour mark, before Nero's second goal 20 minutes from the end killed off the contest.
Ring O' Bells Shipley had Mick O'Connor on target after 55 minutes with the deciding goal in their 1-0 victory at home to Wibsey WMC, who were left to rue a series of missed chances.
Goalkeeper Gavin Fearne was in top form for Dudley Hill Rangers as they secured a narrow 2-1 win at Wyke Wanderers, who had much the better of the first half.
Brian Moffatt gave the home side a one-goal advantage at the interval but Jamie McKewan and Chris Rooney sealed the points for Rangers as they finally got on top.
Eccleshill United kept in the promotion race with a 6-0 victory over rock-bottom local rivals Eccleshill FC.
Goals came from Cameron Kerin, Ben Needham and a brace each from Charlie White and Ben Hardy.
