An innovative project designed to combat the rising levels of obesity among children has won celebrity backing.
Singer Kimberley Walsh and football star Tom Cleverley have given their support to Project HE:RO (Health Engagement: Real Outcomes), an initiative devised by former PE teacher and Bradford football development officer, Graham Morgan.
Mr Morgan, of Bingley, is now director of Evolve Social Impact Company, a social enterprise company that manages and delivers Project HE:RO in schools.
He is passionate about his award-winning project which sees health mentors working in primary schools to inspire young children to be fit and active.
The project now has about 100 mentors working in primary schools across the country, including Bradford.
