Celebrity chef Rosemary Shrager was in Bradford yesterday singing the praises of the great Yorkshire breakfast.
The chef, who runs a cookery school in North Yorkshire, worked with local food producers, including the Blue Pig Company in Skipton, on her new book, Rosemary Shrager’s Yorkshire Breakfasts.
The book contains 75 recipes, from sweet potato and corn fritters to Yorkshire puddings with Golden Syrup.
Miss Shrager, during a visit to Bradford’s Great Victoria Hotel, said: “It’s a simple book of my favourite breakfasts. People tend to think a proper breakfast is only for weekends, but these are quick, easy-to-follow recipes using great Yorkshire produce."
