A body found in Bradford was today confirmed by police as being that of missing man 40-year-old Myles Nesbitt.
Mr Nesbitt’s body was found in grounds behind the Royal Oak pub in Sticker Lane, Laisterdyke. The area has been sealed off with a police cordon and forensic investigators are at the scene.
He had last been seen leaving his flat in Woolcombers Way, Laisterdyke, on Sunday afternoon, prompting an extensive search involving scores of police officers.
A police spokesman said inquiries were continuing to establish the full circumstances of Mr Nesbitt’s death but detectives were confident, at this stage, that there are no suspicious circumstances.
“We would offer our sincere condolences to his family during this difficult time,” said the spokesman.
