A dad whose teenage son died in a drink-drive accident is fronting a new hard-hitting road safety campaign.
Tony Davison, of Otley, whose son Adrian was killed in a car crash nine years ago, will be telling his own story at a series of reality road-safe roadshows.
Next Wednesday he will be at the University of Bradford, at its Great Hall, hoping his role in the Too Young To Die campaign will help cut the number of deaths on the region’s roads.
Mr Davison’s tragic story will be just one of the personal testimonies that will be heard at the roadshows – a firefighter, paramedic and former family liaison officer will also be speaking about the shocking devastation they face at crash scenes.
The roadshows are targeting young drivers as part of this year’s Road Safety Week which starts on Monday.
