A Royal Marine commando who survived a bullet through his head remembered the sacrifices made by the war dead and serving soldiers during an Armistice Day commemoration in Bradford.
Liam Brentley joined fellow veterans, civic dignitaries and members of the public at a wreath-laying ceremony at the Cenotaph in the city centre.
And the family of Private Martin Bell paid tribute to the fallen paratrooper during his brother Oliver’s wedding at Bradford Cathedral yesterday.
